Ways To Support

How to give regular financial support or sponsor one item.

Continuo

Continuo is a generous and committed group of individuals who underpin and enable La Nuova Musica’s bold and ambitious artistic aims. La Nuova Musica, like many other Arts organisations, operates in an environment where ticket sales and performance fees do not cover the ensemble’s costs alone. The support of individuals and other funding sources is therefore essential to ensure longterm sustainability. The regular financial support received allows the group to plan with the greatest confidence and to continue to charter new ground and take exciting artistic risks.

With your help, we are aiming to broaden our innovative commissioning programme, to significantly increase our learning and participation activity and our touring schedule to reach the broadest possible audiences, as well as growing our current recording output.

Members of Continuo are our greatest advocates, our most committed cheerleaders, and part of the La Nuova Musica family.

For more information about joining Continuo, the levels of support and associated benefits you will receive in return, please take a look at the brochure or contact John Summers on john.summers@lanuovamusica.co.uk

Standing Order

Ongoing and regular support by standing order – annually or monthly – is particularly valuable as it enables us to plan with the greatest confidence and ambition. As such, it is our preferred method of receiving donations.

To give by standing order, please download and complete a Support Form, with standing order details.

Bank Transfer

If you wish to make a donation by bank transfer please complete and return a Support Form with details of your donation – If you are a tax payer then we can claim gift aid to make your donation go even further. The form has all the details.

Cheque

To make a donation by cheque, please make it payable to ‘La Nuova Musica’ and post it, along with a completed Support Form, to:

La Nuova Musica
Pistyll Farm
Llanvair Kilgeddin
Abergavenny
Monmouthshire

Gift Aid

La Nuova Musica is a registered charity (number 1144998), meaning that gifts from UK taxpayers can be made under the Gift Aid Scheme. This enables La Nuova Musica to reclaim the basic rate of tax that was paid on your donation, which equates to 25p in every £1 on gifts from UK taxpayers.

For example, every £100 gift is actually worth £125 to La Nuova Musica. In order for us to reclaim the tax on your donation, you must have paid UK Income or Capital Gains Tax equal to the tax that will be reclaimed.

To make a donation under the Gift Aid Scheme, please download and complete a Support Form.

Tax-efficient Giving

Higher rate tax-payers can reclaim the difference between the basic and higher rate of tax on their self-assessment tax return. For example, a gift of £1,500 (net of Gift Aid) will actually cost a higher rate tax-payer £1,125.

For more information about tax-efficient giving, email: info@lanuovamusica.co.uk.
