Mozart’s First and Last

  • St John's Smith Square London, SW1P 3HA (map)

We are delighted to be celebrating our return to the stage by delivering an ambitious programme tracing Mozart’s symphonic development from the baroque inspired first symphony to the last fully developed Jupiter Symphony, via the Rococo 29th and the 3rd violin concerto. Renowned violinist Rachel Podger will lead LNM instrumentalists, directed by David Bates in a concert on 26 July at St John Smith’s Square. The performance will be recorded as live and subsequently streamed via OnJam over two nights with intros and Q and A sessions topping and tailing the broadcasts.

Programme

Mozart Symphony No 1
Mozart Symphony No 29
Mozart Violin Concerto No 3 with Rachel Podger
Mozart Symphony No 41 (Jupiter)

Tickets can be purchased via the St John’s Smith Square website
