Meet our new CEO, Aliye Cornish Moore

We are delighted to announce the appointment of Aliye Cornish Moore as the new General Manager of La Nuova Musica, who will take up her role from July 1st 2026.

Aliye is an experienced arts executive with considerable knowledge of the historical performance sector, who has been CEO of the Irish Baroque Orchestra for the past seven years. She has also served as a Board and Executive Board member at REMA (European Early Music Network) and on the EDI Committee at the Musicians Union. 

Commenting on her appointment Aliye says "I am delighted to be joining La Nuova Musica as the organisation comes into its 20th anniversary in 2027, marking two decades of exceptional work under the visionary artistic direction of David Bates. I look forward to working with David, the excellent artists of LNM and the Board of Trustees as the organisation continues to produce work of exceptional quality at home and abroad."

We welcome Aliye to La Nuova Musica and look forward to working with her. We also want to thank John Summers and Val Hawkin for their excellent leadership of LNM over the past three years and wish them all the best for the future.
